Coming from a background of addiction and recovery, I have seen many people from all walks end up out on the street, homeless and beaten down by this world. I was one of the lucky ones that God sent a sprite of healing upon my life and saved my life. However, there are so many others that aren’t as fortunate as I am. Those lost souls need a hand out and a hand up. This is why I thank God for the Salvation Army. I know that to a lot of people the Salvation Army is just a Thrift Shop… They are much more than that. The Salvation Army has many programs that help people find a better life, a place to live and a place to eat. In reality they are so much more that even that. I don’t have the space or time today to go into it all but you can find out more information by going to http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/www_usn_2.nsf
