Mindsnacks is an excellent iPhone app for learning Spanish language. It helps you to improve your conversational skills and Spanish vocabulary through interesting lessons, games and quizzes.  Mindsnacks has built wonderful educational games for learners of different age groups. Voxy is a paid iPhone app which helps you to learn a foreign language in a practical way similar to how you would use it in real world scenario. When you download and register with the application, you can access plenty of news stories in the language you want to learn which is provided by top publishers and customized based on reading level. The story comes along with background audio which helps you to understand the language better and tag vocabulary words which are new so that you can memorize them later. Voxy acts like a personal tutor for a language and makes the learning process very simple.

    Another great app is Banana Cat – Learn A Language. It’s geared toward kids and has like 7 or 8 different languages in one app.

    My nephews got really excited when they could speak a few words in Italian and French before their trip to Europe ^_^
