Plastiki, the world’s first 60-foot catamaran made from recycled plastic water bottles sailed triumphantly into Sydney Harbor last Monday (26th July 2010, Sydney time) after an epic 8,000 mile journey across the Pacific Ocean from San Francisco.

Plastic Recycling Facility In Oklahoma Nearing Completion

A state-of-the-art plastic recycling facility near Watts, Oklahoma is scheduled to be completed by the first quarter of 2010. This was announced recently by Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies, Inc. (AERT), a leading plastic recycler firm based in Springdale, Arkansas.
