The Rotary Club of North Haven in Connecticut is currently conducting an ongoing cell phone collection fundraiser to benefit local charities through the collection of used cellular phones.
The collected phones are forwarded to Pacebutler Corporation for recycling and refurbishing. Proceeds from this fund drive will be used to assist charities working with military personnel and groups providing phones during emergencies.
The North Haven Rotary Club is working with offices and businesses in North Haven where several cell phone drop-boxes are located for the members of the community to bring their old or used cell phones.
