Nowadays a global financial crisis is making industry worse and worse. Recycling business will help a lot to save money. It should be more supported by government.

I think recycling is best supported by governments but at the same time I think more has to be done at the point of manufacture.

Boulder, Colorado is testing a pilot program where they give everyone large recycling and composting bins and small trash bins. They also charge a huge premium for trash removal versus recycling. Colorado is trying to be green leader in both recycling and alternative energy.
Hopefully everyone remembers the problems of the last 8 years and continues to try to help the planet. As global warming gets more in the public eye due to natural disasters, maybe there will be another upswing in interest in recycling. It is the right thing to do.

I haven’t considered a recycling business, but surprised to find out there are no tax breaks for these kind of companies.

I would really like to see recycling be increased significantly, unfortunately people need an incentive (like the cell phone refund) as a better environment is not rewarding enough.

Recycling business should be supported by the government because they help preserving our environment. The government should subsidize this kind of business and should have lower taxes.
