For example, there is a gimmick for sale in the airline catalogs which involves a spring loaded shoulder rest that in turn allows an individual to have his or her phone at one's ear without using hands. I thought that had been handled in a lot better ways than this. But, evidently the gift offers something new because they are selling like hotcakes. I guess a lot of people are going through a cell-phone every year or two... they don't need to, but they keep wanting to upgrade. I've had my trusty old cell-phone for 5 years and it's still going all right (it cost me only $30 because it was second hand when I bought it. I'm stoked that it's lasted this long). I’m surprised that that there are so many cell-phones available to recycle.
